Bernice Gee Thomas, age 80, passed away July 8, 1998 in West Valley City, Utah.
Born September 17, 1917 in Arthur, Utah, daughter of Frank Arthur and Allie Fern Dall Gee. Married Owyn Farnes Thomas, October 6, 1937; later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of LDS Church. Devoted much time and love to her grandchildren. She loved to quilt.The family would like to express much thanks to Rocky Mountain Care Center for the loving care of mother.
Survived by daughter, Shirley Ann and husband, Richard Grant; grandchildren, David (Lynne) Grant, Lori (Mike) Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Brandon Grant, Tyler Follett, Jadie, Cole, and Ryeley Kelsey; sisters, Elaine Edginton Hall, Salt Lake City; Margie Tomlin, Hurricane. Preceded in death by parents, husband, grandson, Richard Lynn Grant; granddaughter, Melissa Sue Grant; sister, Phyllis Tomlin.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday, 11-11:45 a.m.
