The SCERA Center, 745 S. State, is offering a variety of programs and displays throughout the summer. The following are a sample of some of the programs offered.

- The Orem Heritage Museum, open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, offers free walk-in tours and at other times by appointment. The museum showcases the history of Orem with exhibits including schools and churches, veterans, Indian artifacts, railroads, agriculture, vintage clothing and household items, a working mini-railroad and diorama of 1940s Orem, rare photographs and more.- The SCERA Art Gallery is featuring a free exhibit of the photography of Mark A. Philbrick during the month of July. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from noon to 9 p.m.

- The SCERA outdoor pool is offering swimming lessons, water aerobics, scuba diving classes, family and individual swim passes and private pool rentals. Call 225-3016 for information.

- The SCERA Children's Choir is offering a four-day summer music camp for ages 8-11, August 11-14 from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $30. The fall session of the SCERA Children's Choir runs Sept. 2 through Dec. 17 for ages 3-15. Tuition ranges from $70 to $115. Register at SCERA 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays in person or by phone, at 225-2787.
