Vada Hoggan, age 89, passed away on July 31, 1998 in Ferron, Utah.

She was born July 14, 1909 in Ferron, Utah to William Samuel Worthen and Magdalene Westenskow. She graduated from high school at Ferron and attended Snow College for one year. She married Guy Wesley Law on July 5, 1928 and they were sealed in the Manti LDS Temple in 1933. They made their home in Orangeville, Utah.Vada was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings in the Young Women, Stake Primary and Relief Society. She was ward Relief Society President for seven years, at a time when she had neither car nor telephone. She especially loved her calling as a temple ordinance worker at the Manti Temple for many years. She lived in Manti for 27 years.

Vada worked in the school lunch program in Orangeville for 22 years and was the Emery District lunch supervisor for a number of years.

After Guy passed away she married Perry E. Snow and following his death, Vada married Donald Hoggan. He also preceded Vada in death.

Survivors are three sons and one daughter, Wesley Ruane Law (Joyce) and Lamont Worthen Law (Maureen) of Orangeville; Sherald Worthen Law (Emma Lou) of Price; and Ruby Mae Snow of Bountiful. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Orangeville LDS chapel on Main Street. There will be a viewing at Fausett Mortuary, 720 N. Center St., Castle Dale, Utah Mon., August 3 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Tues. from 11:45 - 12:45 prior to the service at the chapel. Interment, Orangeville City Cemetery.
