Man uses car jumper cables to hang himself at concert

As hundreds of people leaving a concert watched in horror, a man shimmied up a pole and hanged himself with car battery jumper cables.

The man encountered his estranged wife Sunday night at the outdoor Concord Pavilion, where Stevie Nicks was performing, and the two argued. The woman, who had a restraining order against her husband, reported him to police.By the time officers arrived, the man had taken a set of battery jumper cables and scaled a light pole in a parking lot, said police Sgt. Mike Gamble.
