Ruth Brown Robbins McRae, age 76, returned home to join her sweetheart Tuesday, September 22, 1998.
Born September 9, 1922 in Santaquin, Utah, the daughter of Charles Isaac and Bessie Brown Robbins. Married Arthur David McRae, June 7, 1941. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church, worked in the Primary Organization for 30 years, served an LDS Temple mission with her husband. Loved to cook and was admired for her beautiful flower garden. Friend to all who knew her.Survived by her children, Timothy R. (Leslie Ann) McRae, Doug (Connie) McRae, Marilyn Hales and the late David Hales, Bruce A. (Marie) McRae, Kristine (Calvin) Simms; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Mariam, Lois, Roxie, Charles, and J.T. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; and son, David.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 1998 at the Orchard 7th Ward Chapel, 3599 South Orchard Drive, Bountiful. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Saturday morning from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. at the Church. Interment-Santaquin City Cemetery.
