Our beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather Harold Wallace Henschke, age 64, died Monday, August 31, 1998 in Murray, Utah.

He was born March 30, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bernhardt Karl and Margaret Elizabeth Grasteit Henschke. Most important to Harold was his family and the special relationships he had with many. He was an avid gardener and shared his love and knowledge of the beauties of the earth with many people. He won many awards for his attractive yard and garden.He served four years in the United States Air Force as an OMS Crew Chief. He retired from Associated Food Stores, Inc. after 37 successful years as a General Merchandise Salesman. He enjoyed golfing and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Schofield; brothers, Ben and Roger Henschke; children by a former marriage, Sheila Simpson, Nancy Broccardo, and Colleen Cormack; 12 grandchildren; his extended family, Joe, Rebecca, Jodie, and Tony.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 5, 1998, 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call Friday, September 4th, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
