MIDVALE -- A 21-year-old woman was in critical condition Tuesday after a shooting at her Midvale mobile home. Assistant Police Chief Dan Pearson said the woman, Lilianna Mesa, was shot multiple times in the torso and legs. Her boyfriend, whose name was not released, was taken into custody for questioning. Pearson said the boyfriend called police at 5:45 a.m. and reported a shooting at a mobile home at 136 N. Holden St. The woman was transported by air ambulance to University Medical Center. "We believe it involved some sort of domestic dispute," Pearson said. Pearson said the woman's two children, ages 2 and 4, were inside the mobile home at the time of the shooting but were not injured. A handgun that was apparently used in the shooting was recovered at the scene, Pearson said.
