MONROE, Utah--David Fullmer "Buzz" Smith, 69, of Monroe, Utah, passed away January 13, 1999 in Provo.

He was born June 25, 1929, in Circleville to Lionel Earl and Reva Fullmer Smith. He married Eloise Brinkerhoff, in Fredonia, Arizona, September 28, 1952. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, June 30, 1961.He was an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean conflict. District manager for Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Co. for 27 years. He and his wife co-managed the Quality Inn in Richfield and currently was employed by the Sevier School District as a bus driver. He was secretary for the Annabella Irrigation Company for many years. He served in many capacities in the LDS Church, most currently as High Priest Group Leader in the Monroe 4th Ward.

He is survived by his wife of Monroe; children, Holly (Rod) Rawe, Modesto, CA; Stuart (Trina) Smith, Provo; Laraine (Randy) Beaman, Kingwood, TX; Tyler (Maurnie) Smith, Lehi; Christine (Brent) Labrum, Vernal; 25 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; parents; brothers and sisters, Valeria (Eugene) King, Antimony; Con (Marlyn) Smith, Cedar City; Bruce (Rachel) Smith, Circleville.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 1999 at 1 p.m. in the Monroe 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 49 East 200 North, Monroe. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Monday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel on Wednesday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery with Military Rites by the Monroe American Legion Post #37.
