MURRAY -- A fire destroyed the inside of a house Tuesday night, authorities said.
The residents weren't home when the blaze started about 9:45 p.m. and nobody was hurt, said Murray Fire Capt. Randy Willden. The fire caused at least $20,000 in damage to the home, 4748 S. Hanauer Street (50 East).Neighbors called 911 after noticing smoke. It did not take firefighters long to put out the fire, but it caused extensive damage.
Investigators did not know Tuesday night what caused the blaze or where in the house it started, Willden said.
