Terry Gross will be in Salt Lake City Saturday evening to interview Sundance Film Festival participants for her national radio show.
The question-and-answer session will be held at Westminster College on Saturday at 7 p.m. Gross is the host of "Fresh Air with Terry Gross," a National Public Radio program heard on KCPW-88.3 FM (or 105.1 FM) and KUER-90.1 FM.The interviews will be broadcast on NPR next week.
Gross, who has conducted more than 4,000 interviews on the air with a wide range of celebrities, started out in public radio in 1973 at WBFO in Buffalo, N.Y. She moved on to produce and host "Fresh Air" at WHYY, Philadelphia, in 1975. The show went national in 1985 and has been on the air in an hour-long format since 1987.
