OREM -- Model collectors beware. Hide your most-loved set.

A model robber is on the loose.Orem police say that for two consecutive nights, expensive remote-control model helicopters and cars have been stolen from World Class Models, 411 E. 1400 South.

Orem Police Lt. Bob Conner said police responded to an alarm at the model shop at 4 a.m. Sunday. Burglars reportedly broke in through a window and took an $1,800 remote-control helicopter before police arrived.

And Monday, at 5:40 a.m., an alarm at World Class sounded again. This time, a $200 model car and a $400 model helicopter were taken.

Conner said police have no suspects but think the two burglaries may be connected. "You'd think it was the same people if it was two nights in a row."
