Be it ever so humble, there is no place like home, and that is where our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed peacefully from this earthly life on January 23, 1999, from natural causes.

Born on October 17, 1908, to John and Ellen Johnson Marlor in Pleasant Green, Utah. He married Fern Jacobsen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 30, 1931. After 47 years of marriage, Fern passed away in 1978. He married Sally Marlor in 1982.Bob retired after 40 years of service with Hercules, Inc. He was born and raised in Magna, Utah. He and his twin, Jim, were the last born of 12 children. Bob enjoyed athletics, both playing and coaching, hunting, and fishing. He was devoted to all of his family and was affectionately known as "Kingfish" by his grandchildren.

Bob was a high priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and especially enjoyed his callings working with the youth in the Mutual program.

He is survived by his wife, Sally; his children, J. Kent (Sharon) Marlor of Rexburg, Idaho; Janet (Ronald L.) Boren of Sandy, Utah; R. Lynn (Pat) Marlor of Sandy, Utah; and Rosemary (John W.) Gagnon of Parker, Colorado; his step-daughter, Claudette (John) Bernard of Layton, Utah; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchldren.

Preceded in death by parents; 11 brothers and sisters; his wife, Fern; and two grandchildren, Ashlee Ann and Robert Ellis Boren.

Funeral services Wednesday, January 27, 11 a.m., in the Union Fort 5th LDS Ward Chapel, 6770 South 500 East. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and at the ward Wednesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
