LAYTON (AP) -- An 18-month-old girl and her 2-month-old brother will be raised by their maternal grandparents in Idaho after their parents were killed in a car crash.
Killed were:Shannon K. Camacho, 24, Layton.
Angela B. Camacho, 25, Layton.
The couple died Saturday after their car spun out of control and into the oncoming lane of traffic along U.S. 91 in Sardine Canyon between Brigham City and Logan. Their car was hit broadside by another vehicle, according to Utah Highway Patrol troopers.
The family members riding in that vehicle were all treated and released from Brigham City Community Hospital.
The Camachos' daughter, Aloni, and son, Braden, who were riding with their parents, sustained minor injuries.
Braden was treated and released from Brigham City Community Hospital with facial cuts, and Aloni was treated for head injuries and released from Primary Children's Medical Center on Monday.
All four family members were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
