Donald Harry Brown, 69, passed away January 26, 1999 in Provo, Utah.

Born December 13, 1929 in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Clifford "Scotty" and Margaret Marquardt Brown. He married Carolyn June Thomas July 13, 1962 and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He lived in Alaska 41 years where he was an avid outdoorsman. He was a retired journeyman electrician and licensed contractor.He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of American Fork, three sons and four daughters: Scott (Dianne) Brown, Bountiful; Mrs. Paul (Tracy) Tyler, Salt Lake; Roger Brown, David Brown, and Mrs. Christopher (Alice) Johnson, all of American Fork; Margaret Brown, Mesquite, Nevada; grandchildren, Julianne, Tyler, Joshua, and Zachary Donald; a brother, Douglas Brown of Anchorage, Alaska; and a sister, Phyllis Despot of Duluth, Minnesota.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 30, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 15th Ward, 455 East 300 North. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial, Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
