I am responding to Andrea Rouda's Jan. 8 column. This was one of the rudest commentaries I have read in a long time. I wonder if Andrea has children and what they think of her poor choice of humor regarding a sushi chef. I can only assume that Ms. Rouda is perfect in every way.
I applaud freedom of speech, but for Ms. Rouda to blatantly call someone "fat" and to think she is being funny is simply appalling. Most decent Utahns appreciate the talents of others, even if they make Japanese food and they are not Japanese. Even if they are not skinny, yet are wonderful people.Please go back to where you came from three years ago, Andrea. We don't need your insensitive opinions anymore.
