Beloved husband, father and grandfather, George Edwin Rosevear, age 86, died Monday, January 4, 1999 in Holladay, Utah.

He was born December 1, 1912 in Park City, Utah to George Gould and Annie Viola McNaughton Rosevear. He married his lifelong sweetheart, Leone A. Johnson, September 18, 1936 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.He graduated from Park City High School, Westminster College and the University of Utah in Business. He was a loyal employee for Cummins Intermountain Diesel for over 30 years. He loved fishing, trips to Yellowstone, gardening, vacations with family and "club" friends. He was a gentle, kind and unassuming man who gave a life of service to his wife and family. He served faithfully in many capacities in the Stratford Ward.

He is survived by his dear wife of 62 years, Leone; by his four sons: Robert, Danville, California; Stephen (and Liz), Bountiful, Utah; Craig (and Karen), Sandy; Douglas (and Gay), Holladay; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Russell.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, January 8, 1999 at the Stratford Ward chapel, 2605 South 1500 East, Salt Lake City. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and at the Ward from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
