A Genola man was seriously injured after being ejected from a car that rolled from I-15 Friday morning.

Kenneth Gray, 21, was traveling north toward work in Springville when he apparently fell asleep and lost control of his vehicle near Payson, said Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Carlos Reed. Gray's car started into the median before he overcorrected and the car left the freeway on the right side, Reed said. The car spun and rolled several times, ejecting Gray, who was not wearing a seat belt, according to UHP. Gray was thrown approximately 75 feet and came to rest in a hay field.

Meanwhile, the car landed on its top and caught fire.
