A wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, went to sleep and returned to her Heavenly Father November 13, 1999. She was 88 years old. Her loving and giving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

She was born October 15, 1911 in Salt Lake City to Carl Ernest Wiesenberg and Frieda Lohan. She attended Riverside Elementary, Jordon Junior high and LDS High School. She also attended nurse training at the SL County Hospital. Frieda loved to swim and was given the opportunity to swim the English Channel, but her mom said no. One day she rescued a baby from drowning in the Jordan river. She loved to tend children, a job she did most of her life. Hundreds of children still call her Grandma. She served 17 years as librarian of the Grant 5th Ward. She loved her LDS faith, and was faithful to the end attending all meetings the last week of her life. Even two days before she died she attended Relief Society work night. She loved flowers and always had some kind of garden. She has given many years of her life to the service of others. She is survived by her sister, Alice Derricott, Brookings, OR; brother, Clifford Wiesenberg, Salt Lake; and two daughters, Alice P. Feo, Salt Lake; Frieda Ann Youngblood, Lakewood, WA. Preceded in death by her husband Edwin, son, Richard and daughter, Carol Dawn.
