Johnny Mart Bailey, 49, died November 12, 1999 in West Valley City, Utah.
He was born April 11, 1950 to Chester R. And Jennie Goddard Bailey. Married Ellen "Stick" Greenwood, later divorced. They had four beautiful children, which were the light of his life, Travis, Justin, Jennifer, and Joshua. Johnny graduated from Cyprus High School, and served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed at CTE. Johnny was a wonderful and thoughtful son to his mother, and they meant everything to each other. Johnny was the most lovable, huggable person. He loved his family, friends, and job.Survived by his mother; special companion of 11 years, Tracy and her three sons, Brandon, Adam, and Brett; children, Travis (CoriShae), Justin (Jodi), Jennifer (Ryan) Bowers, and Joshua; eight grandchildren, Maddison, Christian, Chandler, McKenzie, Makayla, Brekkan, Bailee, and Allie; brothers, Gene and Bill Bailey; sisters, Sherrie (Paul) Christison and Joan (Dick) Pearce; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by father; brother, David; and brother-in-law, Buck Christison.
Johnny realized the importance of the Organ Donation Foundation, and hoped everyone would participate.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 16, 1999, 12 noon, at the Lake Ridge 5th Ward, 7525 West Washington Rd. (3735 South). Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, and Tuesday 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
