Muriel Jane Albiston Hebdon Campbell Walker was called home November 12, 1999 after a heroic battle with cancer.

Born April 21, 1933 in Preston, Onieda County, Idaho, the second child and only daughter of Mirlend Buckley and Malinda Hodges Albiston. She married Ernest Asa Hebdon September 21, 1948; later divorced. Two sons were born of this union, Lynn Ernest Hebdon, February 6, 1950 and Larry Michael Hebdon, May 3, 1951. She married Glenn Parley Campbell, January 3, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. Glenn was called home August 31, 1996.As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she served twice as Relief Society President for many years in her ward, Visiting Teacher, and home teaching companion with her former sweetheart and husband, Glenn. Also taught Spiritual Living class for over 25 years. She served in the Salt Lake Temple as an ordinance worker with Glenn for four years until his passing, then continued on for three years as an ordinance worker and was avid in temple attendance. She always held a great love for all of her brethren and sisters, served two stake missions with Glenn. Her exemplary and untiring work in helping others demanded a tremendous effort on her part and taught all who knew her the meaning of service.

She retired from Abbott Critical Care Systems as a Quality Engineering Technician Product Complaint Data Analyst in 1991 so she could spend more time with Glenn. They traveled extensively to many church sights and temples to include European sites in their remaining four years together.

In 1997 she met a great joy in her life, John Q. Walker, and married him May 8, 1998. Together they have been extremely happy and supportive of each other while extending the Hebdon, Campbell and Walker families with more children and grandchildren. Sharing her family, temple work and gospel teaching with John Q brought much joy to her. With John Q her hobbies were walking, hiking, traveling, biking, watching Jazz and BYU win games, and attending theater and plays.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband (Glenn Campbell), one daughter and three grandchildren. She is survived by her Huggy Bear (John Q); six sons, Michael (Candice) Campbell, Lynn (Jeanine) Hebdon, Larry (Deborah) Hebdon, Gordon (Karisa) Walker, Gary (Dana) Campbell, and Alan (Tawnya) Walker; daughter, Marsha Doss; 36 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
