Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Marian Kathryn (Kay) Buehler Rollins returned peacefully to our loving Father in Heaven November 11, 1999 in St. George, Utah.
Born January 1, 1919 in Silver City, Utah, daughter of John Henry Buehler and Agnes Elfreda Jensen Buehler. Married Sperry Covington Rollins on July 12, 1941 at Bristol Silver Mines, Nevada.Kay had a natural talent in teaching, not only in her career, but with her family. She was a dignified woman of strong values and encouraged her family to always be their best. Kay had a great love and talent for capturing intense emotion in her still life portraits and landscape paintings. We will deeply miss her presence, but we know that her spirit lives in all of those who knew her.
Kay is preceded in death by her loving companion Sperry; her parents; one sister, Jeanne Werner, and one grandson, Travis Rollins.
Kay is survived by one sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Warren) Sullivan, Hamilton, OH; daughter, Shauna (J. Larry) Antczak, Taylorsville, UT; three sons, Doug (Mary) Rollins, Rocklin, CA, Robert Rollins, Panaca, NV, Scott (Susan) Rollins, Poway, CA; 16 grandchildren, Bruce, Staci (Todd), Kerri (Dan), Lashaun (Sean), Mark, Jared, Matthew (Allison), Christopher (Annette), Christy, Sydni, Lori, Michael (Tasha), Ashley, Emily, Ben, and Jake; six great-grandchildren, Paityn, Ambree, Austin, Mckenzie, Page, and Shala.
A viewing will be held Monday, November 15, 1999 from 6-8 p.m. at the Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 No. Main, Heber City, Utah. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at 12 noon in the Midway First Ward, 250 East 200 South, where friends may visit that morning between 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at Midway Cemetery, 500 South 700 West.
