What is wrong with the District Attorney's office in not prosecuting the rape of a paid escort? Is it because the rape involved a woman whose standards weren't possibly what is generally accepted by the public? A rape is a rape.
It doesn't matter what profession a woman has. By not prosecuting this case, it is making it almost impossible for a woman to report a rape because it may never be taken to court for prosecution. Why is it that a woman cannot be guaranteed justice in the world in this day and age?I am sure a jury will be able to be found that is sympathetic. While I no longer live in Salt Lake County, I have children who do live there. One of my daughters has kept me abreast of this travesty of justice. I certainly hope that things will be changed so that the man who did the raping will be prosecuted.
