MURRAY, UT--Ray Sutton Fackrell, 83, former Preston, Idaho resident, passed away Nov. 13, 1999, in Murray, Utah.

He was born July 31, 1916, in Paris, Idaho, to Forrest Alford and Wealthy Ann Sutton Fackrell. He was raised in Preston, Idaho. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II as a radio operator on a B-24 in the Pacific Theatre.He married Helen Lemmon on May 5, 1947. She preceded him in death on Oct. 5, 1995.

Ray worked on the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, the Downey Grain Growers, worked at the cattle auction, and had a catering truck in Satl Lake City for 18 years.

He is survived by his children, Alyn (Wayne) Baldridge, West Valley City, Utah; Richard (Debbie) Fackrell, Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren, Kristin DeAnn Leystra, Bryan Michael (Leisl) Leystra, Katherine Anne Fackrell, and Nathaniel Michael Fackrell, by two brothers, Lynn (Naomi) Fackrell, Preston,Idaho; Heber (Margaret) Fackrell, Ogden, Utah; and by two sisters, Audrey (Gerald) Bair, Tremonton, Utah; and Nada (Ken) Williams, Big Rock, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999, in the Preston North Stake Center, 310 N. State, with Bishop David Fryar conducting. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery.
