Ross Moser, 76, died Monday, November 15, 1999, of a massive stroke.
He was born October 8, 1923, to Arthur Emil and Elnora Lundquist Moser in Mendon, Utah. He married Marilou Hawkes on September 8, 1948, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in Preston, Idaho, where they both were school teachers before moving to Napa, California, in 1968. There they continued their teaching until retirement. They moved to Alpine, Utah, in 1991 to be near their adorable grandchildren. Ross was an active member of the LDS church and had a firm testimony of the gospel. He will be greatly missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He had numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.He is survived by his wife; and two daughters, Lois (Harvey) McKenzie and Louise (Terry) Illes; three grandchildren, two brothers, Jack (Ann); Blair (Karen); and two sisters, Patricia (Dean) Colver and Elaine (Craig) Morrison. His parents and one sister Francine (Ray) Condie preceeded him in death. Services will be held Thursday, November 18, 1999, at the Templeview Chapel, 676 North Eagle View Dr. in Alpine at 11 a.m. Viewing is Wednesday night at the Anderson Mortuary, 49 East 100 North in American Fork, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the chapel from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Alpine Cemetery.
