Shirlee Bingham Harris, 77, died November 16, 1999 at her home in Orem.

She was born October 24, 1922 in Provo, Utah, a daughter of Willard S. and Cora Jane Farr Bingham. She married Vernon L. Harris on November 1, 1943 in Spokane, Washington. Their marriage was solemnized May 22, 1976 in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple. Shirlee was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callingsthroughout her life. She devoted her life to the service of others. She lovingly sewed draperies, clothing, curtains for many of her family and friends. She was known as "Nana" by her grandchildren.

The greatest testimony she leaves behind are her children. She touched the lives of many people, always with a smile and will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband Vernon of Orem; three sons, Brent L. (Janet) Harris of Cambridge, Ohio; Robin W. (Debbie) Harris of Mesa, AZ; Scott W. Harris of Page, AZ; and four daughters, Mrs. Ed (Cynthia) Haney of Riverton, UT; Mrs. Jim (Tina) Evertsen of West Plains, MO; Mrs. Jack R. (Melanie) Christianson of Orem, UT and Mrs. Greg (Michelle) Smith of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 19, 1999, at 11 a.m. at the Orem Northridge Stake Center, 1620 North 200 West in Orem. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St. in Orem and also Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
