Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a true "Matriarch," passed away peacefully from the joys and trials of mortality on November 16, 1999.

She was born March 2, 1902 in Salina, Utah to Robert L. and Blanche Mathews Boyter. She married George Howard Vincent on October 31, 1922 in Salt Lake City. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away May 18, 1941.Faye was an active member of the LDS Church and for many years served as the secretary of the Wasatch Ward Relief Society. These same secretarial skills enabled her to have a successful career with the U.S. Government after the death of her husband. She was employed by the Army Corps of Engineers and the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1969 after 28 years of service. She especially loved driving her car and was always willing to pick up her friends when anyone needed a ride. She was saddened when she had to give up this form of independence.

She enjoyed a close association with her sister, Madge, and had many dear friends with whom she enjoyed playing Bridge and traveling.

She was very generous with her children and grandchildren and loved to attend family gatherings. She was known for her keen memory of past events and important dates. She leaves a legacy of hard work, devotion to family and a perfect example of "enduring to the end."

Survived by two daughters, Louise V. Tiller, and Bette (Ted) Miller; a daughter-in-law, Rhea Petersen; 13 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Barbara Howe and Madge Drennan; a dearly loved son, George Howard Vincent, Jr.; son-in-law, Earl W. Tiller and great-grandson, Cody Peterson.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 19, 1999 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, where friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Latona section.

The family expresses their appreciation to the Highland Cove Health Care Center, Willow Wood Care Center, and Hospice of Utah for the loving care and attention given to Faye.
