In loving memory of our, mother, daughter, sister, and cherished friend, Diane Marie Owens, 48, who passed on November 14, 1999, at home with her family.
Born Aug. 19, 1951, in Manhattan, New York.Survived by her mother, Johnnie Mae Graddy; children, Shaun A Lewis, Dawn S L Byrd, Alicia C Lockett; brothers, Wesley Grady Jr., Melvin Graddy, Eugene Graddy, Spencer Graddy; sons-in-law, Vector Byrd, Jaunci Lockett; and sister-in-law and very special friend, Christine Grady.
A Registered Nurse, Diane received her Bachelors in Science from Westminster College of Salt Lake City in 1983, and her Masters of Science from the University of Utah in 1996.
She was employed by Primary Childrens Medical Center for several years.
Diane was a loving mother and special friend to all. An active member of the Cannon 5th Ward in Salt Lake City, she was an inspiring sister. She will be dearly missed.
We will gather in memory on Wednesday, November 17, 1999 at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, Ut, from 6-8 p.m. for viewing.
Services will be held Thursday, November 18, 1999 at 1 p.m. in the Cannon 5th Ward, 1250 W 1400 S, Salt Lake City, Ut. Interment; Redwood Memorial Estates. Funeral Directors: Deseret Memorial Mortuary.
