Bert Alvin Kennedy, born March 21, 1923 in Morgantown, West Virginia, died November 17, 1999.
He was born to Isaac A. and Emma B. Kennedy. He was married May 3, l942 to Irene Velma Davis later solemnized July 19, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple.He is survived by wife, Irene Kennedy; daughter, Linda Jorgensen (Paul); grandchildren, Trudy Price (Jeff), Katie Bagley (Lane), Clay Jorgensen, Becky Black (Jesse); five great grandchildren; one brother; two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers.
He was a veteran of World War II. He worked several trades including a barber at the University of Utah. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully.
He will be greatly missed by many friends and family.
A viewing will be held Friday, November 19, 1999, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Deseret Memorial Mortuary. Services will be held Saturday, November 20, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the 26 th
Ward 1145 West 500 South. Interment: Lake Hills Memorial Park.
