Nona Vee Harward Clark, age 72 died at home Tuesday, November 16, 1999, surrounded by her loved ones. After a two year courageous battle with cancer her body finally gave out, but her indomitable spirit will remain. We will all remember her loving, caring spirit and her valiancy to the end.

Nona Vee was born in Vermillion, Utah, January 22, 1927 to Orson Allred and Iva Peterson Harward. In her early years her family moved to Provo, Utah and made Provo their permanent home. Nona Vee was educated in Provo Schools.

She married Burton L. Clark on April 26, 1944 in Provo, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on December 11, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She is survived by a son; Richard Ray (Leslie) Clark of West Jordan, UT; and four daughters, Barbara (Leon) Williams of Alpine, Ut; Anne Maurine (Elden) Clyde of Taylorsville, UT; Marie (Gary) Shelley of Provo; and Beverly (Robert) Nelson of Price, UT; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by six brothers, Ike (Eva) Harward of Payson, UT; Moyle (Maxine) Harward of Philomath, OR; Theron (Doris) Harward of San Diego, CA; Merton (Connie) Harward and Verl (Lois) Harward both of Provo, Ut; Darrell (Margaret) Harward of Orem, UT; and two sisters, LaRae Davis of Fallon, NV; and Joyce (Roland) Johnson of Provo, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Burton, a sister-in-law Ada Harward and a brother-in-law, Chuck Davis.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the Berg Drawing Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo. Friends may call Friday evening at the Mortuary, from 6-8 p.m. or Saturday morning one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
