Our beloved wife and mother, Karen Maureen Anderson, age 56, returned to her Father in Heaven on November 17, 1999. She passed away from a stroke brought on by heart disease.

Karen was born July, 13, 1943 to James and Maxine Sullivan in Hardin, Montana. She married Paul H. Anderson on December 17, 1966 in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple.Karen's life was a tribute to service and family. She was born and raised in a home full of love, and with that sweet spirit created her own loving family. She was a loving and supportive wife to her husband, Paul. Karen was a proud mother of eight children. Her life was spent selflessly and humbly serving her family and friends. The profession she chose as a Registered Nurse demonstrates her love of people. Her greatest joy came from seeing her children serve the Lord. Before her life was cut short, she proudly saw five of her children serve missions and three be married in the temple. It meant so much to her that her entire family was together for the first time in four years for the homecoming of one of her missionaries in September. We look forward to the next time we will all be together.

Karen is survived by her husband of 33 years, Paul, her children; Paula, David (Amy), Natalie (Brian) Guiberson, James (Tracy), Joseph, Matthew, Rebecca and Benjamin, her three grandchildren; Audrey, Rachael and Dillon Guiberson, her mother, Maxine Sullivan, her sister Vonda (Jerry) Downard and brother Jimmy (Nancy) Sullivan. She is preceded in death by her father, James Sullivan and her sister, Rena Griffin.
