BOUNTIFUL-- Ora Gillette returned to the loving arms of her sweetheart, Francis, on November 16, 1999 in Lakeview Hospital, Bountiful, UT. She was 89 years old.

She was born in Victor, Teton County, Idaho, January 31, 1910 to George and Eleanor Cluff Woolstenhulme, the fifth of nine children. She married Francis Cloward Gillette August 9, 1928 in St. Anthony, Idaho. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple June 28, 1934. He died November 8, 1986.One son and five daughters were born to this union: daughters, Donna Phillips (Boyd), Barbara Butler (Blaine), and Nedra Buxton (Keith) all of

Bountiful, UT; Lynn Sessions (Dennis) of Iona, Idaho; a son Jerry Gillette of Grants, New Mexico; A daughter, Nila Renee', died in 1933. Ora leaves a posterity of 25 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Ella Berger of Rexburg and Chloe Curtis of Driggs, Idaho survive her.

Ora was very active in the LDS Church holding many positions in all areas of music. Her beautiful voice thrilled all who heard her sing. Her greatest love next to her family was her organ. She taught herself how to play all the hymns and was one of the organists at both the Bountiful and Salt Lake City Temples where she performed this service into her 89th year even though she was sight impaired. She was also an accomplished seamstress. She made most of her children's clothes as they were growing up, and also made hundreds of quilts during her lifetime.

Funeral services will be held in the Victor Ward Chapel on Saturday, November 20th at 1 p.m. Viewing at 11 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Victor Idaho Cemetery.
