Winterizing mowers, blowers

As you winterize the engines of lawnmowers, check the other components for wear, leaks or other problems. Sharpen or replace dull blades and clean off any grass, mud or other debris. Touch up rust spots and use lubricating spray on control cables, linkages and other moving parts.Do not forget the snow blower. While the weather is good, start the machine and fill it with stabilized fuel. If you did not change the oil before storing it, do so now. If the equipment needs attention, you can get it repaired before the first snow of the season when you may be desperate for an engine that starts and runs.
