INTERDENOMINATIONAL FESTIVAL OF HYMNS, Tuesday, Nov. 23, 7:30 p.m., Assembly Hall, Temple Square. The American Guild of Organists sponsors an Ecumenical Thanksgiving Hymn Sing-In. The program will include familiar classic hymns that celebrate the harvest and express gratitude. Featured organists will be Janet Griffin, Carol Ann Gwynn, Kenneth Udy, Carol Smart, Heidi Alley, David Lines, Sean McFarland and trumpetist James Caswell. This concert is free.

Directed by Don Keipp, the WSU Jazz Ensemble will perform an evening of Jazz works covering the Big Band era through contemporary compositions. PIANIST LESLIE HOWARD, Friday, Nov. 26, 8 p.m., St. Mark's Cathedral. British Australian piano virtuoso Leslie Howard will perform a concert devoted to music by Liszt, familiar and unfamiliar. It will begin with the Goethe-Festmarch and will conclude with the Concert Paraphrase of the waltz from Gounod's opera "Faust." Howard will also perform transcriptions, paraphrases, waltzes and Fantasy and Fugue on the Theme, B-A-C-H, as well as the seldom heard Scherzo and Fugue. Tickets are available at the door for $12.
