Our loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend, AlDean Stewart, returned to our Heavenly Father November 6, 1999 after a valiant battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 9, 1930 in Meadow, Utah to Harold and Belva Stewart. Graduated from Millard High.A veteran of Korean War. He married his eternal sweetheart Ina Collier in 1952. Solemnized in the Manti Temple. She preceded him in death in 1997. He later married Melba L. Smith Jan. 1999. They shared a year of precious time together.

His greatest joy in life was being with his family. He loved fishing, hunting, horses and the great outdoors. He was known for his sense of humor and his kind, giving and unselfish ways. An active member of the LDS Church he held many positions in the church including counselor in the bishopric, ordinance worker in the Jordan River and Salt Lake Temples. He also served a one year service mission.

Survived by his wife, Melba and children, Dean(Debbie), Larry (Laura), Ray (Lorna), Sherrie(Roland)Harkness, Pam(Jim)Wilson, and step

children, Darrell (Hjordis) Smith, Lynn Smith, Dirk Smith, Marlene Hamilton, Karlene (Michael) Wells, 23 grandchildren, 22 step grand-children and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings, Francis (Richard) Oniel, Vern (Sue), Lavon(Dave)Shrimp. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Kent.

We will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held Wed. Nov 10,1999 at 11 a.m. in the Tooele Utah North Stake Center 583 No 270 East. Viewing will be Nov 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary 110 So Main St. Tooele and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Meadow, Utah Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
