PARK CITY -- A Houston woman died Sunday after skiing into a tree at the Park City ski resort, authorities said.
The woman, whose identity authorities refused to release, ran into the tree on Dynamite Run at the resort at about 10:50 a.m. Sunday, said resort communications manager Melissa O'Brien.Ski patrol members who are also emergency medical technicians responded to the accident, as well as an on-call doctor the resort employs.
The woman, 46, was taken by helicopter to the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, where she died.
