Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa are making this spring seem a lot like last summer.McGwire and Sosa each hit their eighth home runs Sunday to remain tied for the spring training lead. McGwire's two-run shot came off A.J. Burnett in the third inning of the St. Louis Cardinals' 10-4 loss to Florida Marlins split squad.Sosa's three-run homer came in the second inning of the Chicago Cubs' 10-7 loss to the San Francisco Giants at Mesa, Ariz.In other games:
DODGERS 7, EXPOS 5: Gary Sheffield returned to action for Los Angeles for the first time in more than a week, going 0-for-2. Devon White, hitting cleanup for the first time this spring, homered twice, and Kevin Brown got his first win this spring.
YANKEES 11, BRAVES (ss) 10: Roger Clemens allowed five runs -- three earned -- and seven hits in four innings. Keith Lockhart had a two-run double. Andruw Jones and Marty Malloy had RBI doubles and Gerald Williams added a run-scoring single.
PHILLIES 2, INDIANS 1: Curt Schilling allowed three hits in five shutout innings. Cleveland's Dwight Gooden gave up one run and three hits in 4 1-3 innings, striking out six -- including the first four batters of the game.
ORIOLES 6, TWINS 4: Brady Anderson hit a three-run homer and Mike Bordick and Willis Otanez added solo shots.
TIGERS 11, ROYALS 7: Tony Clark hit a three-run homer as Detroit piled on 14 hits.
RED SOX 4, BLUE JAYS 3: Lou Merloni hit a go-ahead two-run homer off Billy Koch in the sixth, and Cecil Fielder hit his second homer of the spring for Toronto.
PIRATES 8, DEVIL RAYS 3: Francisco Cordova limited Tampa Bay to one run in five innings, and Pat Meares and rookie Warren Morris homered.
RANGERS 5, REDS 3: Pete Harnisch, projected as Cincinnati's opening day starter, was bothered by a stiff back and limited to four innings. He gave up one run and six hits while throwing 52 pitches.
MARLINS (ss) 6, METS (ss) 3: Livan Hernandez gave up two runs and seven hits in four innings. Rickey Henderson ended a 28-at-bat hitless streak with a two-out double in the seventh.
BRAVES (ss) 3, ASTROS (ss) 1: Mark Wohlers had his best outing of the spring, striking out two of four batters and throwing nine of 15 pitches for strikes.
ASTROS (ss) 13, METS (ss) 11: Carlos Hernandez had three hits and scored two runs.
ROCKIES 11, DIAMONDBACKS 10 (11): Randy Johnson allowed four runs and six hits in 4 1-3 innings, striking out eight. Mike Lansing had a three hits and four RBIs.
ANGELS 7, ATHLETICS 6: Tim Unroe hit a two-run homer off Chad Harville in the ninth.
MARINERS 12, BREWERS 4: Scott Karl, Milwaukee's scheduled opening day starter, gave up six runs and eight hits in four innings. Russ Davis and John Mabry each homered and drove in three runs.
