Florence Halls Banwell, age 70, passed away March 18, 1999 in Phoenix, Arizona after a lengthy illness.

Born August 19, 1928 in Mancos, Colorado, to Herbert and Nina Mae Carroll Halls. Married Robert Leslie Banwell, later divorced. She graduated from Idaho Falls LDS Hospital School of Nursing. Florence worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She dearly loved her profession. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed the the daily crossword puzzle.She is survived by three daughters, Kay Banwell, Phoenix , Arizona; Kim Banwell Farr, (Douglas), North Salt Lake, Utah; Karol Banwell Ferrin, Phoenix, Arizona. Also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Mae Halls Ellis, Washington, and Beth Marie Halls Decker, (Morris) College Park, Maryland; three grandchildren, Brian Jacob, Timothy James Ferrin, and Makayla Lindsey Farr. Preceded in death by brother Robert Melvin Halls, (Ruby).

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 1999 in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Mountain View Section). Family and friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive from 12:15-1:15 p.m. prior to services.
