May 4, 1940-March 19, 1999

Our beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend was taken from us too soon. Ken Howard, age 58, was an innocent victim of a senseless shooting.Born May 4, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Catheryn E. and Euan W. Howard. He graduated from Granite High School where he was a star basketball player. He graduated from Snow College. He was in the army where he received numerous medals. His friends and family will remember him fondly as a hard worker, one who was there when you needed him, always willing to help others but seldom asking anything for himself.

He loved sports. He utilized his athletic ability to the fullest his whole life. Kenny enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, bowling, river rafting, snowmobiling and was an avid golf enthusiast. His biggest joy in life was playing with his grandchildren. He loved his family unconditionally. He will be missed more than words can say.

Survived by his four children, Jodie (Andy) Lopez, Jamie, Steven and Brian; three grandchildren, Chandie (12), Krystal (10), and Jacqueline (1 1/2); mother; brother, Mark Howard; sisters, Barbara Escalanti, Sharon Carlisle, Karen Nelson; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father and brother, Roland.

"WE LOVE YOU!"
