A fibromyalgia self-help course will be offered to those who have the disease and the people who play a role in their support and care.
The course will take place every Tuesday evening, starting March 23, and run for seven weeks at Holy Cross Welcome Center for Women, 507 E. 1700 South, Suite C. Classes are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.Laura Cuomo and Kathy Bovo will teach facts about fibromyalgia and its treatments, managing chronic fatigue, managing sleep disorders issues, losses in emotions, stress factors, marital issues, getting support from others and living well with fibromyalgia.
Cost of the course is $25, or $20 for members of the Arthritis Foundation. Scholarships based on need are available. Spouses or support persons may attend for no charge. For information and to register, call the Arthritis Foundation Utah/Idaho Chapter at 536-0991.
