Ray Allen Anderton, age 51, passed away Sunday evening, March 21, 1999.
Born October 4, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Albert Orson and Violet B. Gore Anderton. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors but never missed a wrestling event on TV! He brightened our days with his unique sense of humor. His passing indeed leaves us with heavy hearts.Survived by his wife of 25 years, Diana Lee Jensen Anderton; daughters, Kerri Lee Anderton and Terri Ann Anderton Williams; son-in-law, Tracey Williams; granddaughter, Haley; Marie Thompson; three grandsons, Ray Daniel Thompson, Timothy Ray Williams, Jonathan Elwood Williams; brothers, Thomas Anderton, Jack Anderton and Lou Anderton; also many nephews and nieces and even more great-nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Beatrice May Goodwin.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. at the Hunter 16th Ward, 3450 South 6400 West. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church 1-1:45 a.m.
