Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Paul Montrone, passed away March 20, 1999, in Salt Lake City.
Born November 9, 1924, Granger, Utah, the son of Anna Castellano and Giuseppe Montrone. Paul married Francis Edith Smith November 20, 1948. They celebrated their 50th year wedding anniversary and renewed their vows on November 20, 1998. Paul retired from Kennecott Refinery after 38 years of service. He has worked with his brother, Ralph since 1985 at Western Sheet Metal.He is survived by his wife, Edith; three children, Lee Ann Montrone, Kathleen (Thomas) Fonio, and Joey Frank (Kim) Montrone; five grandchildren, he loved so much, Katina, Antoinetta and Angelina Fonio, Kara and Chad Montrone; And brothers and sisters, Ralph Montrone, Elizabeth Corso, JoAnn Barker, Josephine Guido, John Montrone, Veto Montrone, and Mary Behunin.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 25th, 1999, at 10 a.m., at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South. A Rosary will be held for friends and relatives, Wednesday from 6-7 p.m., and a viewing from 7-9 p.m. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy.
