The staff of the state of Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration ("Trust Lands Administration") will miss William G. "Bill" Lamb in his role as Utah state director of the Bureau of Land Management. Bill Lamb has been instrumental in recent successes of cooperation between the state and the BLM. His willingness to work with us on the desert tortoise issue, as well as other sensitive concerns on trust lands, has furthered land management in Utah.

Mr. Lamb's statesmanship was instrumental in forging an atmosphere that fostered the large trade between the secretary of Interior and the governor. The staff of the Trust Lands Administration appreciates Bill's work and wishes him the best in his retirement.David T. Terry, director
