After a valiant struggle with a long illness, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many, Richard Farrell Beacham passed away on Monday, March 22, 1999.

"Farrell", as he was referred to by those who knew and loved him, was born on May 9, 1942, in Tooele, Utah to Richard Franklin and Elaine J. Beacham. He grew up in Grantsville, Utah. Farrell was a free and strong spirit with a big heart. He always had a bright sparkle in his eyes and an infectious smile that simply made you smile back. He loved to joke and laugh and was easy to talk with.Farrell is survived by his brother, Ernest and Sharon Beacham of Grantsville, Utah and his sister Pat and David Peabody of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is also survived by his four children: daughter Shelley and David Wormley of Orem, Utah; son Todd and Jessica Beacham of Salt Lake City, Utah; son Jeffrey and Shellene Beacham of Evening Shade, Missouri; daughter Heather and Jared Spencer of Hurricane, Utah. Other survivors include: 10 grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews, all of whom he idolized and held very close to his heart.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 26, 1999, at 11 a.m. at the Grantsville West Stake Center, 115 E. Cherry St. in Grantsville. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday March 25, at Tate Mortuary, 110 S. Main St. in Tooele and one hour prior to funeral services at the church. Interment, Grantsville City Cemetery.
