PARK CITY, Utah (AP) -- The national alpine championships will return to Jackson Hole, Wyo., in 2000, U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association officials said Wednesday.

The 2000 championships will be held March 21-29 and will be divided between Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Snow King Resort.The championships were held in Wyoming last year as well. They are regularly rotated among different areas of the country and have been held at Sugarloaf, Maine, and Winter Park, Colo., in recent years.

The 2000 championships will immediately follow the World Cup finals in Bormio, Italy. An announcement on next year's freestyle championships, which were combined with the alpine championships in Utah this year, will be made later.
