RIVER HEIGHTS, Utah--Helen Mabey Adams, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 1999 in Logan, Utah.

She was born November 11, 1911 in Clearfield, Utah a daughter of Margaret Payne and Joseph Lamour Mabey. She met Allan Nebeker Adams while serving as County Nurse in Randolph, Utah, They were married on January 8, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on November 26, 1996. Five children were raised on the east side of Bear Lake at the South Eden Ranch. A devoted wife, a wise mother and a loving grandmother, her life was filled with service, commitment, hard work and concern for others. She was educated in Davis County Schools and received a nursing degree from Dee Memorial Hospital in 1934. She was an active member of the LDS church all of her life.She is survived by he five children, Nancy Adams, Layton, Utah; Margaret and Larry Kelsey, Blackfoot, Idaho; Bob and JoAnn Adams, Kaysville, Utah; Jane and Gary Kennedy, Salt Lake City; Bill and Cindy Adams, Draper, Utah; one sister, Kathleen Lloyd, California; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the River Heights Ward Chapel with Bishop Mark Weese conducting. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church from 11:30-12:45 prior to services. Interment will be in the Providence

Cemetery.
