Balloon pilots Brian Jones of Britain, left, and Bertrand Piccard of Switzerland receive the Aero-Club de France gold medal at Paris City Hall Thursday. Jones, a balloon instructor, and Piccard, a psychiatrist, landed Sunday in Egypt, becoming the first to circumnavigate the globe in a hot air balloon. "I feel that we have not yet landed from our adventure," Piccard said, receiving the award from Paris Mayor Jean Tiberi. "In 20 days of flight, we couldn't anticipate the joy of being here." The pair got a heroes' welcome at the 100th anniversary of France's Aero-Club.
