Erdogan, 44, was ordered out of office last year after his conviction in for inciting hatred by reciting a poem deemed to encourage opposition to Turkey's powerful military.

HARARE -- Three Americans held in Zimbabwe on charges of terrorism, espionage and sabotage said their right to a fair trial was being undermined by speculative reporting in Zimbabwe's state media.

PERUGIA -- Master chocolatemakers in the central city of Perugia, home to some of Italy's best-loved sweets, said they had made a 1,760-pound Easter egg. The giant egg will be put on display until the day before Easter Sunday, when it will be broken up and distributed free as a message of peace and solidarity.
