Dorothy Anna Cliff Clay Larsen was born March 12, 1908 in Forest Dale, Utah to Edward Parley Cliff and Geneva Rachel Bergener, and died March 24, 1999 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dorothy was raised in Heber City, Utah. She married George Phillips Clay June 29, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death September 24, 1978.Dorothy and George had ten children, (two sets of twins) George B. (Joan) of Miami Florida, Orson C. (Dianne) of Bellevue, Washington, Gayle C. Maxfield (Jerry) of Orem, Utah, LouRae C. Kramer (Lynn) of Lockhart, Texas, John P. (Marti) of Alameda, California, Robert D. (Madeleine) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jean C. Grover Turley (Reese) of Readmond, Washington, Dean C. (Phyllis) of Wichita, Kansas and Neil H. (Jill) of Hinkley, Utah. There are 48 grandchildren, 97 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and one foster grandson. Preceded in death by daughter, D. Lois Turley.

Dorothy was a loving wife and mother, devoted to her family and the LDS church. She held many positions in the Hutchinson branch in Kansas. She was on the Genealogy Board in the Central States Mission under Alvin R. Dyer, Mission Relief Society Secretary under Mission President G. Carlos Smith and Samuel Carpenter, and as secretary to the Stake Patriarch. Dorothy filled an ordinance mission in the Manti Temple with her first husband. She was fortunate to have Ezra Taft Benson, Spencer W. Kimball, Joseph Fielding Smith, Howard W. Hunter, and other General Authorities in her home.

She married Leo C. Larsen November 27, 1982 in the Provo Temple. Leo has five married children. There are 30 grandchildren and 31 great granndchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 27, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at the Cannon 9th ward, 1250 West 1400 South, where friends may call from 8:45-10:15 prior to services. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery. Under the direction of Russon Brothers Mortuary in Salt Lake City. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Primary Childrens Medical Center.
