BOUNTIFUL--Elsie W. Stewart, 82, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999 in Bountiful, Utah.
She was born February 8, 1917 in Providence, Utah, to Otto George Wolfe, Sr. and Hulda Schumann Wolfe. Married James Kenneth Stewart on December 21, 1934 in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Active member of the LDS Church, serving in the ward library for many years. She served with her husband in the Salt Lake Temple for three years. Elsie and Ken loved to roller skate. She also enjoyed gardening and her pets, which included cats, dogs, and chickens. Her home was always open to friends and relatives who needed a place to stay.Survived by a brother, Otto (Mary) Wolfe, Jr., Bountiful; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and a brother.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 1999 at the Bountiful City Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main.
