TREMONTON--Milton Day Garfield, 83, our beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and valued friend, passed away at his home March 24, 1999, following a brief illness.

Day was born January 10, 1916 in Tremonton, Utah, the son of John Owen and Sarah Elizabeth Kay Garfield. He married Dorothy Jones, of Malad, Idaho, on September 18, 1940 in the Logan LDS Temple.Surviving are his loving wife, Dorothy, Tremonton; three children, Carol (Dr. Robert) Friedli, Boise, Idaho; John Owen (Bette) Garfield, Tremonton; Colleen (Daniel) Browne, Saudi Arabia; he will also be missed by his 10 grandchilden and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a dear sister, Wanda (Dr. Melvin) Cook, Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by two sons, Milton Douglas Garfield, Dennis Day Garfield, and two brothers, Irvine and L. Gray Garfield.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 27, 1999, 1 p.m. at the Tremonton Stake Center, 660 North 300 East, Tremonton, with Bishop Rodney Merrell, officiating. Friends may call Friday, March 26, 1999 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 No. 100 E., Tremonton. Interment, in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
